The Architectural Project Manager will provide project management support for projects that range from presentation projects and workstations to transformative high-tech spaces and museum installations and more. Working across disciplines and with a team of designers, architectural and interior designers, audio-video specialists, lighting designers and business leaders and clients, the Architectural Project Manager will develop and manage project delivery plans, coordinate meetings, ensure productive flow of communication, engage in creative problem-solving needs and ensure on-time/on-budget project delivery. The selected candidate will also have practical and functional architectural design skills and the ability and willingness to jump in and be hands-on in the work when needed. 


Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Lead Designer, Lead Architect and Project Managers to understand and track all design element and resource needs
  • Assist with meeting coordination, including meeting notices, attendee confirmations, scheduling conference rooms, technology, materials and presentations
  • Capture and track meeting notes, action items. Create and deliver status reports as needed
  • Regular follow up on project progress and issues; troubleshoot where possible and coordinate with team members regarding resolutions to ensure projects move forward on schedule and budget
  • Under the direction of the Chief Creative Officer and members of project leadership conduct research on projects as needed
  • Assist with internal processes pertaining to contracts and related paperwork at the start and end of all projects to ensure rapid start and orderly shutdown of projects.
  • Liaise with external vendors such as Architecture Firms, Engineering Firms, materials suppliers, civil engineers, etc
  • Liaise with the city planning commission in various cities in accordance with submitting plans and proposals. 


Qualifications
  • BA in design or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years experience managing teams of creative designers, artists, and architects
  • Revit proficient 
  • Familiarity and ability to work in Rhino a plus
  • Exceptional design sensibilities
  • Government contract experience a plus
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience coordinating across disciplines/departments and prioritizing many demands in a manner that ensures deadlines are met
  • Solid relationship and collaboration skills and the ability to drive follow through in a pleasant demeanor
  • Excellent calendar management skills and experience with complex scheduling challenges
  • Exceptional communication including writing skills
  • Willingness to obtain security clearance a strong plus
  • Ability and willingness to jump in with hands-on architectural design work when needed
  • All other duties as assigned 


We are committed to fair and equitable compensation for all employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected base annual salary range for this role is between $140k to $160k annually. Actual compensation will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
