We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Program Manager to oversee project management, application support, and system integration efforts within the roofing and construction industry. This role plays a key part in managing technology solutions that support operational efficiency, job management, estimating, and insurance-related programs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction technology, insurance claims processes, and field service operations, with experience integrating industry-specific applications and streamlining workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (40%)
- Lead and manage technology and process improvement projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication strategies.
- Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and IT to implement new systems and optimize existing workflows.
- Track project milestones, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Drive standardization of technology adoption across company locations and teams.
Application Support (30%)
- Serve as the primary contact for application-related support, ensuring smooth operation of key business systems, including job management software ( AccuLynx, or similar), estimating tools (Xactimate, Symbility), and CRM platforms (Hubspot).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues while maintaining minimal business disruption.
- Manage application updates, system configurations, and process documentation.
- Train end-users on system functionality, best practices, and new features.
- Work with software vendors to escalate issues, request enhancements, and improve integrations.
System Integration Support (30%)
- Oversee system integrations between key business applications, including estimating, CRM, accounting, and insurance claims processing platforms.
- Define integration requirements and work with IT or third-party providers to implement solutions.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot failures, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security across interconnected systems.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies that can enhance operational efficiency in roofing and construction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, application support, and system integrations within the roofing, construction, or field service industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with roofing/construction workflows, insurance claims processes, Xactimate, Symbility, and restoration software.
- Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience working with job management software (AccuLynx, JobNimbus, BuilderTrend, or similar), CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), and accounting integrations (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical and operational issues.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including field crews and executives.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in project management tools (Clickup, Asana, Trello), ITSM platforms, and integration tools (Zapier, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi).
