Associate Financial Analyst

As an Associate Financial Analyst within our world-class FP&A organization, you'll be at the center of strategic decision-making, partnering directly with the U.S. Commercial Sales team to deliver impactful financial insights.

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for a motivated finance professional to gain hands-on experience in sales performance analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. You’ll support the financial management of a rapidly expanding commercial organization, helping to align sales goals with financial targets and driving data-informed decisions across the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Forecasting Support:
    Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and trend reporting for U.S. Commercial Sales leadership.
  • Budgeting Support:
    Help gather inputs and update financial models for annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working closely with senior analysts and department stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions. Summarize findings and assist in creating dashboards or presentations.
  • Month-End Close Support:
    Partner with the accounting team to collect data for month-end close, helping to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
  • Process Improvement & Tools:
    Participate in improving reporting processes and tools, including spreadsheet automation and documentation of procedures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial tracking and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exposure to financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Internship or up to 2 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role preferred, but not required.

For roles based in the United States that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $70,000 to $80,000 Full-Time Annual Salary
