Culbreth, Carr, Watson Animal Clinic is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced, 3.5 (FTE) doctor, animal practice located in Rome GA. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Therapeutic Laser and Phovia Light Therapy!

Culbreth, Carr, Watson Animal Clinic is located in Rome, GA which is just a 1 hour commute to Atlanta. Rome, GA has an awesome vibrant pet friendly downtown as well as excellent restaurants and shopping in the downtown River District! For baseball fans, our Atlanta Braves!! We've got an annual Rome Film Festival - coming on its 20th anniversary - one you won't want to miss! For education, we have Berry College which is the largest college campus with access to miles of both paved and hiking trails!

Floyd County public schools are exceptional, making it an ideal area to raise a family. We have all manners of outdoor sports: hiking, mountain-biking, horseback riding, river sports, backpacking, camping. If you love the outdoors, Rome, GA is for you!

Job Description

Our Veterinarians:

  • Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible. 
  • Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort. 
  • Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. 
  • Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
  • Help to continue developing the support team. 
  • Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

Qualifications

We’re looking for:

  • Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
  • New graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply
  • Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
  • Proficient in general medicine and surgery 
  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
  • Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
  • Active Veterinary State License 
  • USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
