The Crew Scheduler Trainee role is your first step, and upon successful completion of the required training, you will graduate into the Crew Scheduler I role. With additional training and experience, a Crew Scheduler I can later become eligible for advanced roles such as Crew Scheduler II, Sr. Crew Scheduler I, and Sr. Crew Scheduler II. Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, high-stress, high-responsibility environment.
•Basic understanding of FARs and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) rules and a strong willingness to learn.
•Must be willing to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, with flexibility across shifts, weekends, and holidays.
•Successful completion of the Allegiant Crew Scheduler Training Program and Desk Check.
Preferred Requirements
•One (1) year of experience in crew scheduling or the airline industry.
Job Duties
SAFETY – The First and Last Word in Everything We Do
•Ensure all crew member assignments are fully compliant with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and respective crewmember collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). Monitor crew duty times, rest requirements, and legalities in real-time, adjusting assignments as needed.
•Coordinate closely with Operations and Dispatch to prevent and respond to any compliance risks.
•Use CMS Crew Scheduling software and applications to maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
•Flag and resolve any discrepancies or concerns before they impact operations. Make decisions that balance safety, crew well-being, and operational efficiency.
EXCELLENCE – A Standard, Not a Goal
•Deliver accurate, timely, and efficient scheduling for routine flights and last-minute changes.
•Apply Allegiant's policies and directives with precision, professionalism, and care for the crewmember experience.
•Provide detailed written pass downs between shifts to maintain continuity and ensure smooth operations.
•Monitor, adjust, and optimize crew schedules in response to vacations, sick days, trip trades, and other factors while maintaining accuracy.
•Actively work to expand your knowledge and understanding scheduling and outside of the box thinking.
•Arrive punctual and prepared to every shift.

•Stay focused and organized, managing multiple crew schedules across a variety of flight types, including scheduled, charter, and ad hoc flights.
•Navigate a fast-paced environment with discipline, handling both routine scheduling and urgent issues promptly.
•Maintain availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as the nature of airline operations requires flexibility.
•Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them before they affect operations or schedules as well as act quickly to minimize impacts.
•Uphold consistent situational awareness and be ready to collaborate with the team in solving issues quickly and efficiently.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
