We're looking for a Financial Analyst who's ready to make a real impact on our growth. You'll be the one providing the financial insights that guide our strategic decisions, using your expertise to build solid models and forecasts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and refine advanced financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning, with a strong focus on e-commerce KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, etc.).
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis on company performance, including revenue trends, profit margins, cash flow, and key e-commerce metrics, delivering clear and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Finance: Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory investment, cost structures, and supplier evaluations, driving profitability and efficiency.
  • Digital Marketing ROI Analysis: Analyze digital marketing spend and performance, providing insights on ROI and customer acquisition costs.
  • Variance Analysis & Financial Reporting: Lead month-end and year-end variance analysis and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Benchmarking & Best Practices: Benchmark Alabaster Co.’s financial performance against industry leaders, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor junior analysts and contribute to scaling financial operations.
  • Hybrid Work Collaboration: Actively participate in in-office collaboration and contribute to a productive hybrid work environment.
  • Leadership Development: Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures, preparing for future leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, ideally within the e-commerce or consumer goods sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A strong understanding of key financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite proficiency is preferred.
  • The ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Adaptability and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A clear desire and demonstrated potential for advancement into a senior finance leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory management, cost analysis, and pricing strategy within e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing ROI analysis and customer acquisition cost optimization.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is highly desirable.
