Qualifications:

As a Product Designer for Airspace Technologies, you will craft the future of user interactions to transform the time-critical logistics space. You will be the design lead on a multidisciplinary team amongst best-in-class engineers, product managers and business teams in a fast growing environment. You will dig into user needs to create interactive solutions in a meaningful, intuitive and emotionally engaging way. The right candidate must have an excellent product design portfolio with an eagerness to learn.

 

What You Will Do:

  • UI Design - Understand and deconstruct complex information into visual interfaces that are user centered and highly refined while conveying the voice of our company.
  • Solutioning - Transform complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.
  • Prototyping - Create intricate prototypes to share with stakeholders and users.
  • Process Thinking - Address design challenges and clearly articulate the steps to your approach for a final solution. 
  • Organizing and Communicating- Provide visual direction and assets to pass off in a clearly thought out manner with great attention to detail. 
  • Research and Testing - Work closely with product managers to better understand your users, and find the most effective and usable user interface solutions.

What You Will Bring:

  • 2-4 years of experience focused on interaction and visual design.
  • Proven skill delivering web applications.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of user interaction, visual design, branding and hierarchy, across a variety of platforms and domains.
  • Experience working on all project phases from conceptual thinking to Engineering handoff.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, demonstrating the ability to think about the finer details and interactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach with a cross functional team.
  • An interest in keeping up with the latest design trends and practices.

Required Skills:

 

  • Experience using design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to design interfaces
  • Wireframing and prototyping
  • User Interface Design
  • Visual Design
  • Experience in Material Design, App Design, Google Gallery, HTML/CSS; JavaScript would be icing on cake

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $150,000
