Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility ED Coder (Full & Part-Time, Remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Code all diseases and conditions for the Emergency Department according to ICD-10-CM, UHDDS, and AMA CPT-4
  • Stay updated with coding policies and procedures, including any changes
  • Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher while meeting productivity standards
Required Qualifications
  • Certification required: AHIMA credentials (RHIT, RHIA, or CCS)
  • Minimum of 3 years' recent Facility ED coding experience
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 outpatient coding principles
  • Proficiency in Injection & Infusion coding
  • Availability of at least 20 hours per week
