Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Position:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the movement of goods and inventory across our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include demand planning, issuing POs, executing shipments, coordinating with key partners such as 3PLs, customs brokers and freight forwarders, and driving cost reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability in 3PLs (USA and Europe) and Amazon
Demand planning: Analyze sell-thru rates and manage inventory forecasting, incorporating lead times to maintain supply chain efficiency.
Develop and maintain effective inventory management strategies to minimize overstocks and stockouts.
Lead Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and implement strategies to minimize operational expenses, including optimizing logistics and vendor negotiations.
Act as a product specialist, staying informed on market trends and competitor activities to identify potential new product opportunities.
Conduct thorough competitive analyses to assess product offerings, market positioning, and strategic moves. Use insights from market and competitor analysis to propose innovative products or improvements to existing items.
Coordinate with the supply chain and vendor teams to manage ETAs of incoming inventory and ensure timely product availability.
Generate regular reports on inventory metrics, forecasting accuracy, and market analysis for senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments to align inventory strategies with promotional and sales activities.
Qualifications:
Must have experience importing products into the USA
Proven experience in inventory management, forecasting, merchandising, or a similar role in a retail or e-commerce environment.
Experience with Shopify, Shipstation, FBA and eCommerce.
Experience working with Customs Brokerage Agencies.
Knowledge and experience with food-specific compliance, including:
FDA regulations (e.g., Prior Notice, FSVP, Food Facility Registration).
EU General Food Law (e.g., traceability and hygiene standards).
Proficiency in managing Importer Security Filing (ISF) and customs declarations.
Familiarity with U.S. CBP and European Union import regulations for food products.
Strong understanding of INCOTERMS and international trade documentation (e.g., BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists).
Experience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification for tariff and duty calculations.
Ability to coordinate phytosanitary certificates and other specialized documents for food products.
Previous experience and relationships coordinating with:
Customs brokers
Freight forwarders
Warehouses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic remote environment.
