About the Role
As a Financial Management Services (FMS) Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for families in your caseload, supporting them with administrative tasks related to participant employer obligations and budget management. You will collaborate closely with the Business Manager of FMS, the Financial Management Department, and the Senior Director of Self-Directed Services to ensure services are well-organized, timely, and aligned with our commitment to quality.

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally, and ensuring a positive experience that reflects the company’s values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Complete onboarding and enrollment, including setup in FMS Software and submission of employee UMPI applications.
- Coordinate annual renewals and maintain compliance with Accord’s policies.
- Administer and reconcile participant budgets within FMS Software, ensuring accurate tax, benefit, and expense calculations.
- Reconcile and monitor budget limits and submit timely YTD Spending Summary reports.
- Update budget changes as needed, ensure proper documentation, version tracking and reporting to required parties, including communication of service agreement changes.
- Maintain accurate employee/employer data to support correct billing and payroll processes; collaborate with Payroll and HR as necessary.
- Manage Service Agreements, ensuring consistency with approved budgets and coordinating necessary revisions.
- Ensure compliance with DHS, waiver regulations, and Accord’s internal policies.
- Track service delivery and documentation within FMS Software.
- Provide program education and assistance to the Persons Supported within your caseload.
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to provide updates and address questions or concerns.
- Provide person-centered, compliance-driven support that promotes service quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Assist in marketing and recruitment efforts.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Self-motivated and quick learner; open to learning new processes

- Knowledge of payroll processes and budget reconciliation
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Strong work ethic and team player
- High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally (Metro area)
- Pass a background check
Preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, and/or Hmong
- 1-2 Years of experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Prior experience with FMS and self-directed services.
