Senior Account Executive

At 5X our top priority is now to build out the platform. Picture every company using 5X as getting a core stack (Data Ingestion, Warehouse, Modelling & Orchestration and BI) out of the box with user permissions and Utilization insights. We are looking for Data Engineers with with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions. This is a full time role.

• We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive who thrives in fast-paced, high ownership environments and has a strong understanding of the modern data stack. This is a 100% net new logo acquisition role focused on mid-market and enterprise accounts across North America. You’ll play a critical role in helping CTOs, Head of Data, and Product leaders modernize their data infrastructure and accelerate time to insights and AI applications with 5X.
• What You Will Do own and execute the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, negotiation, and close
• Develop and maintain a 3–5X qualified outbound pipeline at all times
• Strategically sell to senior stakeholders including CTOs, Head of Data, Product, and Analytics.
• Position 5X as a high-impact, time-to-value alternative to traditional DIY data stacks.
• Collaborate closely with Product, SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships to close complex multi-stakeholder deals.
• Maintain a rigorous cadence of outreach and follow-ups with personalized, insight-led messaging

• 5+ years of Account Executive experience, ideally with exposure to the data ecosystem (modern data stack, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, etc.)
• Track record of closing complex, consultative deals in North America
• Ability to identify critical use cases and business pains, and translate them into compelling narratives
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-trust environment
• High EQ and strong executive presence—able to lead multi-threaded sales cycles

• Consistently exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
• Become a trusted advisor on modern data infrastructure and AI-readiness
• Evangelize 5X’s differentiated positioning in the fragmented data tooling landscape
• Help shape the sales playbook, influence GTM strategy, and mentor junior reps as we scale
